Environmental Science 20

Welcome to Environmental Science 20 Course page!

Environmental Science is an incredible course where you will learn about human impact on the environment, energy sources, aquatic and terrestrial systems, waste management and conservation! If you want to know where the water from your tap comes from and what processes brought it there fresh and clean for you to drink then this is the class for you!

If you have wondered about sustainable energy, waste management and how to be a responsible steward of the world in which we live, then this is the course for you!

There is a big difference between Environmental science and Environmentalism. This science course examines the impacts of good and bad practice, but also gives interesting information about real life things in our world such as recycling and components of healty soil!

The Environmental Science 20 class will lead you into both Biology 30 and Earth Science 30 in the Saskatchewan science curricular pathway as the diagram below outlines…

You can see the official CURRICULUM we will be working from at the link on the button below ๐Ÿ˜‰

Our class will be planning some short outings nearby the school when weather permits! Parents / Guardians please sign the form your students will bring home giving permission for these short excursions during class time. Below you will find a digital copy if you haven’t seen one the first week of school;)
